For some reason, there is a Theme Dutch promo video that autoplays upon login to dashboard. I paid for the premium James theme and find this to be an incredibly annoying feature (I’ve never seen this w/ any other themes, paid or free). I do not need to be blasted with a promo video & music every time I log in to the dashboard of my site. Any info on how to remove it permanently would be greatly appreciated.
Also, why am I not allowed to access the real support forums? This free support forum is very bare.

I’ve already answered your message via our contact form. Regarding the video, i’ll discuss this with our staff members. Thanks a lot for your message.
Best wishes,
Helen28/08/2012 at 6:17 PM #8081Thanks Helen. It looks like the code for the video will have to be removed, as simply un-checking the box for Theme Dutch (within the screen options for Dashboard, Theme Dutch is the module that houses the loud video) only hides the video but it still plays the loud music EVERY time I go to the dashboard.
03/10/2012 at 12:33 AM #8604this is a horrible idea, and worse implementation. to get rid of it, go in the theme folder and open the functions.php file, and delete the following block (may differ depending on your theme, but it should be commented so you can find it easily):
/* Add dashboard widget */
function td_dashboard_widget() {
echo '
Your browser does not support iframes.
';
}function add_td_dashboard_widgets() {
wp_add_dashboard_widget('td_dashboard_widget', 'Theme Dutch', 'td_dashboard_widget');
global $wp_meta_boxes;
$normal_dashboard = $wp_meta_boxes['dashboard']['normal']['core'];
$td_widget = array('td_dashboard_widget' => $normal_dashboard['td_dashboard_widget']);
unset($normal_dashboard['td_dashboard_widget']);
$sorted_dashboard = array_merge($td_widget, $normal_dashboard);
$wp_meta_boxes['dashboard']['normal']['core'] = $sorted_dashboard;
}
add_action('wp_dashboard_setup', 'add_td_dashboard_widgets' );
?>17/10/2012 at 11:41 AM #8748Hi,
what peace of code needs to be removed in new version of theme … its big difference from this one.02/11/2012 at 11:23 PM #8908Remove this bit of code from Theme Function (functions.php)
<iframe src=”http://www.theme-dutch.com/advertise” width=”100%” height=”100%” style=”margin: 0px; padding:0px;”>
and the trailing </iframe>
You can replace the ‘your browser doesn’t support iframes’ text if you like.
