Site does not appear in Internet Explorer. Receive the following message:
Message: Invalid procedure call or argument
Line: 1
Char: 7707
Code: 0
URI: http://situationbrief.com/wp-content/themes/Freeze/js/css3-mediaqueries.js?ver=3.5.1Have went through all plug-ins and so far found one that has apparently decided to takeover the whole site - Floating Social Media Icon by Acurax
When disabling it in the backend my site’s front page shows up with only a debt clock ticker in both IE AND Chrome. When re-enabling the plug-in, I get the above error message from IE but the site shows up perfectly in both Chrome and FF.
The only portion changed in the Header.php was the following (shown in bold):
!- Sociables -
div id=”theme-tools”
div id=”theme-sociables”
?php DISPLAY_ACURAX_ICONS(); ? ?php core_sociables(); ?
/div!- Search -
div class=”theme-search-box”
?php get_template_part(‘searchform’); ?
/divdiv class=”floatclear”/div
/divHowever, this change was not done until two days ago and prior to that, the same issues were happening with IE but no issues reported from either Chrome or FF browsers.
Please advise as to if the error message is within Freeze itself and what I need to fix with it, or if it is the plug-in alone. (Will be contacting the plug-in creator as well.)
Thanks much!
*Edit #2: For some reason the html for quote and code aren’t working in this post. Removed all ” for purposes of showing code.
25/03/2013 at 6:30 PM #11196Hi,
We don’t appear to be getting anything like that on our test and demo sites with Freeze, (demo site: http://theme-dutch.com/presents/freeze/) so I can’t quite believe this could be a theme thing issue.
Unfortunately our free support does not extend to cover plugin incompatibilities as well as customized themes so I’m afraid that I won’t be able to help you much further on this one.
