    Hi Stephane,

I’m not entirely sure I fully understand what you mean, I’ll explain you how we created our homepage though, perhaps that will be helpful. (http://www.theme-dutch.com/presents/cesare/)

We’re using a regular page with no content in the content area. In the page options, for type select “gallery”. Next fill this gallery with the images you’d like to display and save the page.

Once done creating the page, go to settings -> reading and select to display a “static page” for your homepage. Last select the page you just created in the dropdown selection box.

    Hi Kevin,

    Thanks for your answer.

I succeed to create a static home page. But what I would like to do is to create a home page which looks different than the orther page of my web site. For exemple, I would like to remove the menu and keep only a fullwith picture.

    Best,

    Stephane

    Hi Stephanie,

There’s no option to remove the menu on a page as that would remove any way for the visitor to navigate. I think something like what I explained in my previous post is possibly the closest you can get to that.

    Hi Kevin,
my idea was to creat two links on the home page : one for the french version and one other for the english version.
There is no way to remove the menu ? If it is required, I can update my account. Please let me know.
    Best,
    Stéphane
