Hi,
I’m still working on my new site http://www.modernlovelongdistance.com. When I load up the site the menu and header load slowly - their load lags way behind the rest of the page. Why is this? And is there anything I can do to fix it or not?
Thanks!
Lisa
Hi,
That’s actually done purposely with a timer in the theme’s code to make sure it loads after the correct fonts have been loaded from the google fonts and when everything is ready. Editing the timer to either deactivate it or speed it up a bit can only be done in the theme’s code. There’s no option for that in the admin panel.
Thanks Kevin. That’s helpful.
