I have just installed SISO on wordpress v3.4.2. When I set Dummy content: to ‘place dummy content’ under themes>siso>general> and then press ‘save changes’, wordpress almost stalls and sometimes goes to the sample page or crashes wordpress totally. Both times the dummy content is not loaded.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled SISO and re-installed WordPress and still have the issue.
Thoughts please? I am getting no where. Thanks, Colin

Siso is not upgraded to 3.4 yet, but this probably should not cause such problems. Did you perhaps also installed other plugins (third party plugins)?
08/10/2012 at 3:20 PM #8660Hi Helen
No plugins installed when this happens apart from askimet which comes with the WP base install. Colin
08/10/2012 at 8:41 PM #8665What version of WP is Siso approved for then? Maybe I can uninstall WP and start with an older version? Either that or could I obtain a full copy of your demo site so I can install that so I can see how it works?
11/10/2012 at 1:20 PM #8708Hi Colin,
The Siso theme runs on the version 3.3+ as you can see at the themes features. We are updating all our themes and Siso will also be updated as soon as possible.
02/01/2013 at 8:16 PM #10073I bought siso wp theme, I’ve installed with blue host under wordpress 3.5 but do not works. I saw in ducht forum that this theme do not works with this version of wordpress, so I’ve deleted all, installed wordpress 3.3.2, made another database, ed installed again siso theme following the pdf manual, I added the dummy content, but when I go to home page in my admn profile is not possible to upload immage, and the page do not show how it will be, but it’s not possible to make any change.
03/01/2013 at 5:05 PM #10079Hi christina,
are there any posts in your WP-installation? The existance of posts is required on some of the admin panel functions. Just having a post somewhere is good enough, it doesn’t need to show anywhere on the website.

03/01/2013 at 7:18 PM #10086There are the post, pages and pictures from dummy files, I can see in my ftp and admin. I added the dummy files, but i cannot upload pictures, make new layer, nothing.
I also tried to download the theme again, reistalled again, and installed wordress 3.3.1 but nothing there is no way to let this theme work. This is how it will appear on the website even if dummy contents are uploaded and visible if I check with FTP

When I go to homepage to upload the slide I got the screen here http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/503/5687425804.png but when I click on upload image nothing happens, the same when I click ad layer.
I do not know where is the problem, but I need to have the online ecommerce ready for the 18 of this month for the opening of the shop.cristina
07/01/2013 at 9:16 PM #10157Hi Cristina,
The fact that nothing happens on those two buttons has got to be a problem caused by a jQuery malfunction in some way. The fact that you have no plugins installed is a little odd on that part as usually that’s where jQuery problems tend to come from.
As I went to view what the page looked like on the URL you provided I bumped into a different theme though, so I’m not exactly sure what the thing might be, do you have the possibility to upload for example a test somain with Siso so I can check that out?
07/01/2013 at 9:29 PM #10160I changed theme, as I cannot wait anymore, I made a lot of tests and there is no way for the theme to work. Anyway it have no plugins installed, just the wordpress with standard plugins get with installation and the dummy files. i cannot upload again the theme as I ve to give the website ready to my clients
