Just updates to the MikMag 2.2 theme. The theme options button displayed for a short time. Next time we logged into the site, the Theme Options button is now displaying the text blow instead of a button and I am unable to get to the theme options.

    Hi Jeff,

Mikmag2.2 is currently compatible with wordpress version 3.6.1, The latest 3.8 version is not yet supported. Your problem most probably comes from this incompatibility.

    Kind regards,

    Kevin

Thank you for the response Kevin! Any idea when MikMag will be 3.8 compliant? It’s important to stay current for security and many other reasons.

    Regards,

    Jeff

    Hi Jeff,

I can’t quite give a good estimate on that, I’m afraid.

The reason is that we’ve got quite a lot of different themes that we try to keep up to date as much as we can. However, updating a theme can be a big task and it always takes quite some time to complete, as you never know what issues might arise.

We’ve only got a small team that needs to carry out updates over all of our active themes and that also works on creating new themes, so because of that it can always take a while to get all our themes updated.

    Kind regards,

    Kevin
