    Hello,

    The shortcode “Thumbnail Slider” designed to select the category and the number of images. But the code does not work, it always offers the latest articles and even if you change the category, nothing happens. Here’s the code:

    [thumbnailslider category = "produits" background = "# fff" textcolor = "# 000" number = "20"]

    Hi Cedric,

    Are you sure you have got the correct casing for your category (no uppercase) also, I notice there’s a space between the # and the colorcode as well as between the = and the ” quote. Not sure if this could cause any malfunctions but you could try removing those.

    Hi kevin

    I checked all the spaces, and everything works if I change the color for example, the number of words, the item number. There is only the choice of category. It’s always the last articles. I tested on all categories! None appears.

    I even tried the code like this:
    [thumbnailslider background="#fff" textcolor="#000" number="10" words="14"]

    Result ,everything works well except the choice of category (normal !)

    I think it is a forgotten or an error in the PHP template
    Can you give a correct lines?

    Hi cedric,

    The strange thing here is that we’re using this slider on our demo website aswell and it appears to work fine there. I changed “all” to “home-slider” and iyt did filter to only display that category. This leads me to believe there must be something else than a php error causing this, since otherwise it shouldn’t work on our site either.

    This is the way the shortcode looks for us

    [thumbnailslider category="home-slider" number="20" background="#fff" textcolor="#000" words="10"]
