Beta 1.1 Thread

[Whitt Madden]

Beta 1.1 is looking great guys. So far I have nothing to report. That could always change however, but I think that you are very close to a finished product here. The nuances of IE 9 are not showstoppers and right now I have not seen any showstoppers.

Whitt and Mike,

G’Day.
Trust that you both had good weekends.

Okay Whitt, you just beat me to creating this thread as I was about to write similar comments.

Have done some testing of ver 1.1 over the past day or two and haven’t found anything that is of a major concern. All I have are a couple of minor suggestions.

1. Like the User Manual, especially where it spells out how to create a Parallax Page.
2. Would like to see something either in the manual or as a seperete document as to how to upgrade the theme. Yes, I know that you can deactivate the theme and then delete it via the Dashboard and then install and activate the new version and no changes are lost (tested this and it worked great). But. We probably need to think about the KISS principle here as you see on the ThemeForest comments section for many themes comments from purchases as to how to upgrade/update their theme when a new version is released. A section in the manual or a seperete document would surely eliminate many of these queries.
3. And I noted that the version number hasn’t been changed in the style.css - it’s still showing ver 1.0

So, apart from those couple of nit-picky points, all looks good.

Cheers,

Michael.

ps. Like the new Home Page for the Theme-Dutch website
