My blog only shows the posts in brick format. In the settings I adjusted the view of the category in to ‘posts’ but on my website it doesn’t show any other way than bricks. I want the blogposts shown as you have in the demo. How can I fix this?
Please help.
Gr. Jelmer
For you reference: http://dev.rawtwig.nl/houten-accessoires-blog/P.s. please ignore the question at mojo.
27/01/2014 at 9:31 AM #61741Hi,
Don’t understand why you deleted your reply/answer on my question but I will try again. I tried all the things you mentioned:
- Try on WordPress 3.7.(1)
- Disable all plugins
- Installing a clean original versionBut my blog options never started working. I can see the options “video / gallery / bricks / boxes” in the James settings but after selecting one, nothing happens. The blog layout stays as ‘bricks’ and is not showing any other layout no matter which option I choose.
Hope you can help me.
Best regards,
Jelmer
P.s. I disabled the blog option for now as a temporary option but would like the blog back. When you want to check I can enable it again.
27/01/2014 at 10:21 AM #61765Hi Jelmer,
If I was the one who replied to you, I’m unsure why my reply has disappeared. Sorry about that.
Just to make sure,
Are you certain you have hit save changes after altering the selection for your gallery? If it’s a homepage you’re working on (using wordpress’ show latest posts option) have you altered this setting in appearance -> James -> home
Have you altered this in Appearance -> James -> Category Setup (especially if the page you are working on is not a homepage created with the wordpress show latest posts setting)
Kind regards,

No problem.
Yes I’ve done all of this. I even tried changing it to the homepage and a seperate page. The posts are showing only not in the right layout. And I’ve hit save many times;-) I’ve let my programmer take a look at it and he also says nothing happens when selecting a different layout.
Best regards,

I think this might be an incompatibility with WP3.7.1 and our current version of James
We’re working on updating our James theme to support wp3.8 right now, it should be available soon. At this point we’re waiting for some information from mojo-themes before we can release our update. We’re trying to have it available as soon as we can.
Kind regards,
Kevin01/02/2014 at 12:20 PM #62470Hi Jelmer,
There has been an update for James. You can get the lates version from mojo-themes or mojo-marketplace.
Kind regards,
Kevin06/04/2014 at 8:30 AM #63284I have just installed James 2.0 on wordpress 3.8
everything works except for the boxes.I can’t get them to do what your demo version does.
How do I get them to load up with pictures and allow the user to toggle through the images?
I have put the pics into the post by using media button.07/04/2014 at 9:28 AM #63287Hi,
Before I can help you, we need to verify you as a customer. We can only provide support to our verified customers.
Mojo-themes doesn’t have a system to permit us to use purchase-code authentication on our website. Because of this, our only way of verification for mojo-themes is if you could post a topic in the “support” section on our mojo theme-page
http://www.mojo-themes.com/item/james-2-0-responsive-full-screen-portfolio-woocommerce-theme/
In your topic, please mention your theme-dutch.com accountname and to make sure we will see your post, also reply to this topic here to let us know that you’ve posted the verification request.
Thanks you,
Kevin08/04/2014 at 12:31 AM #63295okay I have filled in the verification system twice.
I will also go to the mojo page and do as you have asked.
Anything you can do to help would be great our site can’t be built until we over come this problem.
james 2.0 how do you get the boxes to be like the demo with numbers and pictures you can scroll through?08/04/2014 at 12:36 AM #63296have also went to the mojo site and registered with them.
They say I have no themes to be supported.08/04/2014 at 7:28 AM #63297Hi,
Could you perhaps specify where you’ve actually downloaded the James theme from, that way I can help you get the verification. I was under the impression you had gotten it from mojo-themes (which is why I specifically sent you there). But I now feel this was not the case.
Kind regards,
Kevin09/04/2014 at 12:13 PM #63320Hi,
Thanks for giving some more information about the purchase. I got somewhat confused by it all. Seems like you’ve bought your theme via mojo-marketplace (not mojo-themes, as I first assumed). I’ve gone ahead and verified you based on your e-mails. Sorry for this delay.
I’ve been taking a look at your website and I see you did get boxes to display. Are you still experiencing any difficulties?
Kind regards,
Keivn -
