14/01/2014 at 10:45 AM #13638Hi Jeroen.
Could you try to clarify a bit further what doesn’t seem to be working properly? Is it a certain feature within the sliders that doesn’t work? can you not create any slides at all? Do you get any error messages or other strange things?
Kind regards,
Kevin
14/01/2014 at 11:11 AM #13640Hello,
i can create new sliders. Than when i want to add a slide that’s where it stops so i cannot add any slides.
Also when i select an existing slider i don’t see the slides i only see “add slide” to click but when i click this nothing happens so also no error message.
With regards,
Jeroen
15/01/2014 at 10:52 AM #13649Hi Jeroen,
You’re saying that since some time this is no longer working right. From that, I read that it did work properly in the beginning. Do you know if anything has changed at all in between. For example, have you updated your wordpress version?
If I’m not mistaken, the current version of Champi is compatible up to 3.6.1, What version are you currently working on?
Something you could try either way is to download a fresh version of the theme from mojo-themes. Once a theme has been bought, it can be redownloaded for free, so that shouldn’t be an issue. Then remove the current version of Champi from your FTP (Or simply rename it to keep it there as a backup) and install the freshly downloaded version of the theme. Se if that changes anything
This way we could rule out any corrupted files within your currently installed theme.
Kind regards,
Kevin

16/01/2014 at 9:16 AM #13656Hi Jeroen,
Your theme settings are saved in the database, not in the theme’s files. Removing your current and installing your new theme shouldn’t make you lose any settings.
Kind regards,
Kevin
20/01/2014 at 8:51 AM #13681Hello, It worked i installed a fresh download of the theme and i can make adjustments again.
Can you help me with another problem. When i make a child theme so that i can make adjustments without having to screw up the theme it gives me a really strange menu the rest is copied ok so i don’t understand are there any css files to import except the main and for the menu?
with regards,
Jeroen
20/01/2014 at 12:30 PM #13685Hi Jeroen,
Very probably what’s happening is that the menu has not yet been selected (appearance -> menus). Could you check if a menu has been selected / created there?
Kind regards,
Kevin
20/01/2014 at 5:36 PM #13689Yes just checked the menu is selected as it should be so that is not the problem.
Any other idea’s? The menu appears in a vertical menu with very large space above and under the menu item.

Jeroen

Is there any chance you could supply me with a URL to your website? It might help me better understand what’s going on.
Kind regards,
Kevin

Looks like you’ve got it solved, or at least I don’t think i see the menu issue. please do correct me if I’m wrong, if there’s still an issue.

22/01/2014 at 9:35 AM #13700Hello,
It is still an issue but i cannot leave the child theme active since this is a website in use and it looks like shit if i do so that won’t work.
I’ve got nothing solved.
With regards,
Jeroen
ps. kunnen we ook gewoon nederlands praten?
23/01/2014 at 12:00 PM #13708Hoi Jeroen,
Kevin
