I did the google speed insights for my site and one of the major problems seems to be that the theme isn’t using the WordPress theme support for image re-sizing down for mobile devices
and I placed the code into the header for viewpoint <meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width, user-scalable=no”> but it doesn’t seem to help scale to the viewpoint of the device.
It looks ok in an ipad but anything smaller ie phone it doesn’t resize properly.
I would really like to solve these two problems as that seems to be the major issue for speed.
I tried the W3 Total Cache which doesn’t work either so I took it back out
I was able to improve the speed from 30% -> 60+% using the Autoptimize plugin which helps improve the above the fold speed by putting many of the scripts in the footer along with some of the CSS but that is all I have found to date.Hi Debbie,
I see you posted a similar topic on mojo-themes, with that I was able to verify you as a theme buyer from mojo-themes so you now have the mojo-badge.
I’m sending this on to our development team (who were also informed about your mojo-themes post) for them to look into.
