Hi,
I’m using Screen theme 1.4
I have a few pages on my navigation bar, plus the “Home” page. The Home page takes up the full width of my page which is what I want. When I click on any of the other pages the page has a large sidebar with the breadcrumb displayed it in. Is there a way to get rid of this and have the whole page for the content? Thanks.

You should be able to select your page layout in the screen page options. These are found underneath the text editors for every page. Select full width in the dropdown selection box displayed for Page layout.
I’ve also added a quick screenshot of that.
With kind regards,
Kevin

Thanks for getting back. I never went down that far to notice the page settings. Thanks.

04/10/2013 at 6:46 AM #12851There should be a pop-up where you can upload images, the wordpress media management thing.
When this doesn’t work it often turns out to be either a jQuery conflict with a plugin (you can check this by turning them all off for a bit and trying to upload then, if it then does work, turn the plugins back one by one to find which plugin is causing the conflict)
The other thing that might often happen is that it would be a compatibility error with the used version of wordpress. The current screen version is not yet compatible with wp3.5+. WP 3.4.2 should work properly. Do note that we’ve got an update for the screen theme coming very soon. Screen2.0 will be WP3.6 compatible and will feature some exciting new stuff.
Either way, if it really just doesn’t seem to work on your website, for the time being (until the update) what you could also do is upload your logo image to your FTP manually (the default place for wordpress uploads is in /wp-content/uploads) and reference to that image by inserting the link in the textbox next to the upload image button.
As the update is coming soon it probably isn’t worth turning everything inside out to find where the problem is, however if the issue does persist we can still do that. Don’t worry.
With kind regards,
Kevin
04/10/2013 at 1:13 PM #12855Thanks for the info. I tried removing the plugin which didn’t help. It’s probably that I’m using WordPress 3.6
Any idea when Screen 2.0 will be out?07/10/2013 at 9:41 AM #12862Hi Patrick,
I’m afraid I do not have an exact date and I do not want to be making any false promises. I was told that it should be finished soon though so I personally expect it to be within the next two weeks.
