Perhaps I am missing a step or there seems to be a conflict in setting up custom sidebars. When a custom sidebar is set up it appears in the Widgets section accepting whatever widget is placed therein but does not replicate the configuration when the specified side bar is selected for insertion on the target page.

Update:
Looks like it was the prior version to 3.6-beta3-24290 interfering. Seems to be functioning now.
Update 2
Mikmag 2 Beta using WordPress 3.51.
Custom sidebar will not populate widgets. The previous post was content appearing from the “None” sidebar.
Upon further testing the two separate versions (3.5.1 & 3.6-beta3-24298) produce identical results. At the moment custom sidebars do not respond to settings.
I am sure you are aware of this already and have resolved it for the next Beta version.
