Thank you for the assistance with the video block. However, this has introduced a new issue. The auto play (and also the size of the brick).

You’ll see that the first video is using a video brick.
What I would prefer to do, if possible, is more like the bricks that are 300 x 150 (Teaser 2, 3, 4, 5, Trailer). I would like to have that size brick and image, and then people click on it THEN they can watch the video.
Is this possible?

Hi Amber,
I’m afraid that acquiring that functionality isn’t something that can be done with a simple code change. It would require quite some code rework as it isn’t an available function at this moment. I could ask our programmer if there’s an easy way to get rid of the auto-play on the videos (I’ve tried some things myself but didn’t get the proper result). However the addition of an image+video type combined brick would require quite a customization as that would be a complete new feature.

OK, let’s see if we can turn off the autoplay. That would be a great place to start.
If we wanted to customize it for a 300×150 block image that opens to the Vimeo video, what might that cost?

I’ve posted the autoplay question to our programmer so I’ll get back to you as soon as he’s had the time to take a look at that.I’ve also requested a customization quote to get a 300×150 image brick that displays a vimeo lightbox popup when clicked.

As for the customization quote I can already give you that one.
An extra brick type
- Brick displays an image in 300×150 dimensions
- When clicked, the popup displays a vimeo-hosted video

I haven’t had any news on this one yet, but since I’ve sent this to the same person as t whom I sent the gallery bug, I’ve used the discussion we’ve been having on the gallery issue to remind him to also check this question. I think he might have missed out on it as there were multiple questions sent at around the same time there.
I’ll try to get back with more on this question as soon as possible

Hi Amber,
News on the autoplay is that our developer has now implemented it in a theme update. I’m now informing on whether or not this version is stable yet and if it is I’ll be sending it to you directly via e-mail.
