Hi, The widget area is not working. I can’t drag and drop or even open existing widgets. How can I manually update the file paths to these missing images?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It actually sounds like you’ve got a jQuery conflict going on, probably with one of your plugins. What you can do to check this is turn off all your plugins, see if the widgets now do work and if so, turn them back on again one by one to find the faulty one.

27/09/2013 at 6:14 PM #12797Hi Thanks Kevin! I deactivated all the plugin and the widgets still didn’t work. I know I had this issue when I first installed the theme. Before I even had plugins. The theme wasn’t working with the current WordPress. Do you have an updated version of this theme? My version is 1.0.1
27/09/2013 at 6:15 PM #12798Or how do I manually change image addresses in the widgets area without using the appearance>widgets area?
28/09/2013 at 9:22 AM #12802Hi Desiree,
If your wordpress version was too high for the theme to support then I guess that would probably still be the issue. I must say I’m not sure whether it’s possible to reach the widgets’ images without the admin panel. Maybe from the database.
However, I’m afraid I can’t really help you out much further as firebird is a discontinued theme: http://theme-dutch.com/wordpress-support/topic/message-from-the-staff-regarding-firebird/
With kind regards,
Kevin
