Hey ThemeDutch… you gotta come to the rescue
I really love you guys, but I have a pet bug and a scratch I can’t itch.
Playing around with MigMag, constantly impressed with what I can do while pushing the envelope, I invariably break it including WordPress, and blow it off, drop all tables and start fresh again and again—after all this is my sand box you are playing in! hahahahahahahah
My pet bug is there is no slider backup for a quick restore. I use revolution slider in addition on numerous pages, a favorite of mine and I can quickly recover my complex sliders, for there are many, recreate the slider via slug and import setting text file and voila!
Oh! Poor Me! Life is tough! Now I need to set up my sliders again and recreate the layered content.
I know, you are going to ask if I exported the options.sql and you have guessed it; nope, never thought of it until after the fact. The export .xml does not restore the images and settings as you know.
How about a .php hook to include Revolution Slider, I am sure there is a simple modification. Did I say Please and Thank You?
A second thought is it would be nice to have a full screen slider adjusting to the full width of the page beyond the 1140 grid in the header.
Okay guys, that is the extent of my mini rant.
Have a great day
James

I had added an export function for the sliders to the suggestion list for our developers to review.
As for adding revolution slider, I’m not quite sure mostly because I know with the 2.0 update it was decided to keep this sliderset. Don’t get me wrong, I understand your point for the backups and understand how it could be very handy to have those. I just don’t think a fourth slider will be added for now.
As for the 1140 grid question, would you mean keeping the page at a 1140 grid but havind the slider “stick out” all the way to the ends?
