Hi -
Thanks for the great theme. The Nivo Slider is broken in my wp install, and it will not allow me to upload new images into either pre-existing sliders or newly created sliders. It just shows an empty image for each slide in the admin panel and nothing appears on the actual site.
Please help and thanks!

I don’t appear to have any similar problem when I try to add an image to a new slide in the nivoslider.

Yes, still having exactly the same issue. Here’s specifics:
Look in NOTIME/Sliders/Circular
Try to ‘Add Slide’ and choose image ‘z01′ for example — it does not add the image. Also, none of the images appear for either of these slideshows (i.e. Film or Circular), which are the newest created ones.
The other slideshows that do still work (i.e. Circle or Mod2) were created prior to this issue appearing. The only thing that I can think of that has changed is that I deleted a slideshow — but that’s it.

I am able to add a new slide with an image, however the slider doesn’t appear to work anymore. It did work when I went to check it yesterday.. Do you remember changing anything since then?
What you could do is download a fresh version of the theme, remove the currently installed version and install this freshly downloaded one. There might be a corrupted file causing oddities.

Yes, nothing changed in the time that you checked the slider the first and second time (besides me logging in to see if it worked and trying to add a new slide).
Also, I just reinstalled the NOTIME theme as you suggested and unfortunately this didn’t fix the slider issue. Any other suggestions for fixing this issue?

Hi Daws,
I notice your homepage is using a slider called Circular, that one was empty {(no images assigned)} the page called example home1 had the “Circle” slider assigned. That one did have images assigned.
Now I added images to the slider called Circular, it appears to work properly.

Yes, I logged into the ‘Circular’ slider and saw your images uploaded - perfect. As soon as I tired to upload images or change the images to this slider, none of the images will load into the slider. This is exactly what has been happening. I have tried to load images into the ‘Circular’ slider (both existing slides and new slides) and the images will not load.
Do you have any idea what is causing this?

Seeing as I can upload and insert the images but you cannot, I’m thinking it might possibly be a browser compatibility issue of some kind. What browser (and version) are you using?

Yes, I thought the same thing so have tried both Firefox 20 (Mac) and Safari 6.0.3 (Mac). However, I was able to upload images to the slider previously, and everything worked perfectly at some point. Now, it appears the slider itself will not allow me to attach images. thoughts?

I personally don’t have a mac so I’ve tried firefox and safari for windows but those both seem to work. I’ll be sending your issue through to helen from the themedutch staff to test this on her mac.
We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
