    Hi,

I am trying to install the theme with the demo content supplied, I have imported the xml file (dummy content) but I am now struggling with thw wp_options sql file, but please note, the xml file hasnt imported any pages, any menu structure etc. Nothing has changed.

I wish to just get the the site up and running, like in the demo and then I will edit from there.

I have emailed the url and user and pass via the themeforest email. :D

I’m having the same problem and want to achieve the same goal. When I use the wordpress importer it gets to the step where it asks to associate the posts with a user and then after that it crashes. When doing the import I checked the box to download attachments.

This theme is rockstar thanks for creating it, this is one of the best themes I’ve come across.

    Thanks

    @MrHillman and @Aaron,

We’re sorry, but we forgot to included the read me file: How to setup the dummy content. It will be in the update tomorrow. Below you will find the read me, hope this will help.

STEP 1 Go to Tools > Import then select “WordPress”. You will need to install the Worpress installer Plugin Browse for the dummy-content.xml and click “Upload file and import”
STEP 2 Go to your phpMyAdmin, and browse to wp_options. Click import and browse for the wp_options.sql file. Once imported, all the NOTIME theme settings will be ready and set to go. Setup the menu yourself, main and footer.
NOTE! Except for the sidebar widgets. You HAVE to create your own sidebars and insert the widgets of your choice to be display in those areas.
Please use the dummy content only as your guide, the images are copyright protected and DO not come with the theme! Thanks for your understanding.

Note: you’ll have to set up your menu yourself.

    Best wishes,
    Helen

Thanks for the reply Helen, however, the import of the dummy content xml file does not work, after the part where it asks you to associate the posts with a new user, you are just shown a blank screen.

It does not create any dummy pages or dummy posts either, even after doing the sql import.

The SQL import did help with some of the imagery now found in the “media” secton of wordpress admin, and also with the sliders. But still, the dummy content is not really provided as per the look in the demo, which is what I am really after, so I can then edit from there.

Any update on This? Dummy content does not add any dummy posts or pages.

I was able to get the dummy content to partially work by just importing and not selecting to download any of the images or attachments. It put all the pages, posts etc in place but they didn’t have images but it worked.

Then I pulled source code from the demo to setup the widgets etc… It is a manual process and can get you what you need but takes time.
