Where can I find the php files to edit the site nav etc? They’re not in the header.php file.
Thanks
03/12/2013 at 10:19 AM #13396Hi Jamie,
I’m afraid that code level / theme customization support exceeds what we can offer as free support.
Our premium support package does include some code-level support like pointers towards where things are located in the theme code or sometimes minor changes to theme code.
With kind regards,
Kevin
03/12/2013 at 1:48 PM #13401I don’t want a specific example. But the header.php doesn’t include anything in the header and just calls another file.
Can you not tell me where that file is?
04/12/2013 at 10:52 AM #13410Hi Jamie,
I understand that, the thing is however that the way our files are being set up changes quite a lot on a per-theme basis in order to find the most effective ways for each purpose.
For me to find out what file you’d need to have would also require me to search through the files and code and possibly have one of our developers take a look at making sure it is indeed the right file and place so I’ll be sure to give you the proper information.
Honestly, if I knew it from the top of my head I would have shared the information with you. I believe there’s no sense in me keeping behind information that I do know just like that.
I do understand that this request doesn’t include any large scale code changes or anything like that but for the feasibility of giving free support we have had to put up some boundaries to what we can and cannot do as free support. We’ve put them to help with anything the theme was designed to do and looking into issues to confirm that they are bugs + fixing those bugs.
Anything for adding functionality / customizing the theme on a code level and altering what the theme was designed to be like is what we cannot do.
Kind regards,
Kevin
