tried to upload the zipped file, I should be able to upload this right through WordPress into themes. Right? As a zipped file? Getting message “Are you sure you want o do this” try again and it never works?

Hi Denise, I think you need to unzip the main file first: Joop 1.2 - Unzip me please.zip, inside there is the theme file JOOP. Thats the file you need to upload again as a zip if your using the wordpress uploader, if by ftp upload the unzipped file.

    Good luck

Hi I finally got this uploaded using FTP instead of through wordpress, but now I have these error

Warning: require…/wp-content/themes/Joop/tdframework/core/options/options-classes.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in …/wp-content/themes/Joop/functions.php on line 32

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘…/wp-content/themes/Joop/tdframework/core/options/options-classes.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in …/wp-content/themes/Joop/functions.php on line 32

Any thoughts? I did a clean install

    Hi Denise,

Let me see if I get this right.

You’ve unzipped the file you got from themeforest ( Joop Unzip Me Please.zip) and then uploaded the folder it contained (called Joop) to your ftp in wp-content/themes/.

    Is that correct?

    Kind regards,
    Kevin

    yes, that’s correct

Maybe it matters, I don’t know why it would but…. This installation is on a subdomain on my server for development.

    Hi Denise,

That’s quite strange. We’ve been doing quite a few Joop installations for our clients lately but we’ve never encountered this issue. I think it would be a good idea to try doing a fresh theme install just once more. To make sure your files are not corrupted, we’ll download a fresh version of the theme to work with.

Please try following these exact instructions:

    - Download a fresh version of Joop from themeforest. As you’ve bought it already you can re-download it for free).
    - You now have a .zip ( Joop 1.2 - Unzip me please.zip )
    - Unzip that and you’ll find a file “joop.zip”.
    - Unzip the joop.zip file and check that the folder you get from there (called joop) contains theme files (folders such as css, images, js, languages etc. then files such as 404.php, author.php etc). If the folder you got from your unzip contains those files, then we are sure that’s the right folder.
    - Now go to your FTP client and remove your currently installed version of the theme from your ftp
    - Next upload this new folder (“joop”) to your FTP in wp-content/themes/
    - Make sure the folder you upload is called “joop” without a capital J. I see in your error messages that it capitalized Joop, that may be part of the problem you’re experiencing.

    - Now after the upload check your website’s dashboard to activate the theme and see if everything works fine.

    Kind regards,
    Kevin
