Hi Kevin,
Okay, so here’s the problem: For the LayerSlider WP which is included in the JOOP theme, I have created the images (using Illustrator then ‘saved for web’ (I’ve even tried images optimized using Photoshop to ensure the dimensions and the file size is as small as possible) at the same size as the size specified for the slider image dimensions (600px x 250px). Now, you are correct that if I were to simply insert the image on a page and select full width, then yes the image is not blurry; however, when dealing with the Layerslider WP ‘full width’ and size options are not given in the media library option panel (I’ve attached a screen shot). The image size that is uploaded is listed in the media library as 600px x 250px so there shouldn’t be any resizing of the images, logically speaking. Interestingly, inserting the image (the same 600px x 250px image) onto a page creates a much smaller image than the size of the slider (600px x 250px) which makes this rather confusing since it seems to indicate that I need to create a larger image for the slider… do you understand what is happening here?
FYI: my plugins and version of WordPress are all up-to-date — in case you are wondering.
Use link to view the problem: http://ebmd.ca/wordpress/?page_id=660Thanks in Advance,
PaulineI’ve attached a screenshot of the media library upload and insert panel.

Hi Ed
I’m afraid that support on a code-level is something we can only do for our premium members. As mentioned on our forum home:
Free support does not cover ticket-suppport, advice or looking up code for customizations on our themes. For all these purposes we refer to our Premium Support (anual costs $ 29,-)
Now as I made a slight exception for you as I sort of expect this to be a theme function in a while and I went and took a quick look, to see where I think this code file is situated. I cannot guarantee you that it’s in there but I believe the file should be flexslider-product.php found in joop\tdframework\core\slider\slider-flexslider.
Kind regards,

There is a section 11. JOOP Admin panel - Sliders in your manual, that will show you how to setup a Full Screen product slider.

04/02/2014 at 5:17 PM #62504You have to first create your pages, create home ect…then add them to your menu. Then go under settings>reading and set your default page to the home page that you have created. You have your blog selected as your home page, thats why it doesnt look like the theme. The pdf included with the download has full detail how to set up sliders for the home page like the theme. Create a slider, its under appearance>joop>sliders, go back to your homepage, scroll down to background and select the background with the name of the slider you created. Hope that helps.
08/01/2014 at 9:21 AM #13598In reply to: Layer Slider 5 and Visual Composer 3.7.3 updates
Hi Lemuel,
The plugin should be available in the theme folder (joop\tdframework\addons\plugins) I believe that should contain the updated version. you can replace your currently installed layer slider plugin with that one to upgrade. I will also check with our development team to see if there are other ways of updating the plugins.
Kind regards,
Kevin

in forum JOOP WordPress themeHello,
I just updates the theme to the 1.2 zip at ThemeForest but I’m still at the old plugin versions of Layer Slider 4.6.0 and Visual Composer 3.6.14.1. The new versions are mentioned in http://themeforest.net/item/joop-full-screen-woocommerce-portfolio-theme/6068779
How can i get those updates?
Thanks.
25/11/2013 at 1:46 PM #13282In reply to: Create an Portfolio
Hi Marius,
I’m afraid we don’t have a video tutorial for that but I’ll try to explain it to you step by step.
I think you mean this portfolio type: http://theme-dutch.com/presents/joop/portfolio-full-screen/
This portfolio is created by using an empty page with a Fullscreen Posts Slider.
First we will create the slider.
The fullscreen posts slider displays the posts that you have added to certain categories.
1| Create a new category that we will be using to group all your portfolio items
2| Create posts. For every item you would like to add to your portfolio, you create a new post.
Make sure this post has:
- Title
- Text/content (for the preview)
- Featured image (the image used by the slider)
Lastly, assign the post to the portfolio category you have created.
3| When you have created posts for your portfolio and you have added them to the category. go to appearance -> Joop -> sliders and create a new “Fullscreen Posts Slider”.
4| type the name of your portfolio category in the text area for “categories” if you want to display multiple categories in one slider, seperate them with commas “,” .
5| Select how many posts you want the slider to show and how many words the excerpt should contain. Choose to enable the slideshow function if you want it to slide automatically and select to show the thumbnail (smaller image) or not. Save the slider
6| The slider is ready. Now it’s time to make a page to show it on. Create a new page, add a title but no other content. Then in the page options for “Page background” choose “slider” then at “Background slider” choose the slider you have just created.
7| Save the page and add it to your menu in appearance -> menus.
I hope this helps you creating the portfolio.

I see you also mentioned the shopping cart but am not sure if you have a question about that too. If you do have a question about the shopping cart, could you try asking it once more? I’m not sure I understand it right now.

13/11/2013 at 11:03 AM #13110In reply to: Demo Slider
Hi Jov Mar,
What you see on the Joop Homepage is a slider custom to the Joop theme that’s called the “FullScreen Products Slider”. It uses woocommerce product catalogs/categories and slides through the products within those categories.
It can be found and set up in the theme-options: Appearance -> Joop -> Sliders.
Kind regards,
Kevin
