I’ve tried using the theme in WP 3.5, & 3.2.1 - same issue on both versions. I can’t upload any images, logos, files, etc… can’t change font colors, or insert links, basically it’s like the theme is simply not working. I just bought this theme 2 days ago right off this site. Which version of WP is this going to work in? I have a deadline to get this site up in 3 days and I’m getting very frustrated. FYI: I have ZERO plugins and no customizations whatsoever. Clean install of WP in a subfolder “/wp/” and using Firefox and Chrome to test it - same problem in both browsers.

22/01/2013 at 5:19 PM #10337Hi,
The theme hasn’t been updated to 3.5 yet but I believe 3.2.1 shouldn’t give any problems.
Have you got any posts in your wordpress site anywhere? I know some of the theme options require the existence of posts to properly function. If the website currently has no posts on it, I’d suggest trying to add one (it doesn’t need to be shown anywhere on the website, just it’s existence would suffice) and then try changing the colors etc again.

15/03/2013 at 10:31 PM #11046I’d like to get a refund for this theme. It’s still not compatible with WP 3.5 and I have been unable to use it at all.

have you tried what I had suggested in the post above? Adding a post to your website.
As for the WP3.5 compatibility, much as what I wrote on your topic about Freeze, The Basics is also one of the themes we will be updating to 3.5.1 compatibility as soon as we can. We are working on updating them one by one.

21/08/2013 at 8:44 PM #12587Hi Aleksandar,
Updating themes has proven to be very time consuming. The main reason would be the fact that we don’t only update compatability on themes but we also add/update lots of functionality. This, plus the fact that we have to continue producing new themes as well as test any changes we make to new or existing themes causes things to take a lot of time.
At this moment, I do believe we are still planning to update the basics to WP3.6, however I really couldn’t tell you when.
