Hi, I’m using the James theme version 1.4 and I’ve been having problems when I visit my website bukharidesign.com where the menu items at the bottom disappear when you navigate away from the home page through the website to other pages such as “About” or “Services” etc. where the two menu items that go missing are the “Contact” and “Jobs” pages. Please help? Thank you.

    Hi Leah,

    I see what you mean.

What I believe to be happening is that when going to your websites homepage through typing the URL, there seems to be a different loading pattern than when going to it through an internal link (even the link to home). You can see that when visiting through the URL, the menu loads first and then the logo. When visiting through an internal link, this is no longer the case.

What I believe to be happening is this:

Your logo’s width + your menu’s width (with all items) are too wide for the section reserved for this bottom left part of the page. This is the reason these two last links are not being displayed when the internal links are being used. The size of the logo is taken into account and it sees there’s not enough space so these two last menu items are not displayed.

With the other loading pattern though, the menu is loaded first, so all the links are there. Then when the logo comes in it’s being pushed to the side, actually exceeding its reserved space.

The issue seems to be just in the menu + logo size vs the reserved space for both

    With kind regards,

    Kevin
