I’ve read the detailed instructions to upload the dummy content by I can’t seem to locate the file: dummy-content.xml in order to upload it via wordpress importer. Not sure how I’m missing it, but do you know exactly where it’s located? I’ve browsed for it after unzipping the dummy folder.

I also contacted my host and they walked me through the 3 steps in the read me file, and it ended in an error and they said they couldn’t help me.

Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi Brad,

In the original theme zip, there is another zipped file called “notime-dumm- content”

When I unzip that, open up the folder it included called “dummy content” I find the XML file. It’s basically in the same folder as the manual for me.

If it’s not there for you, you could try downloading the latest version of the theme from themeforest. It should be included there. If not, please do let me know.

Is there a generic password to login after we install the dummy content?

the login will not change when uploading dummy content. It will remain the same as you had set it before installing.

Actually, the login does change now that the dummy content is available only in an SQL file. The dummy content has three users in it, ike, lenur and jeorge. When the SQL file is imported through phpMyAdmin, these overwrite the admins created when setting up WordPress.

There are instructions here on how to reset a password in phpMuAdmin. I did this sucessfully for the user ike, and was able then to login and create the admin I wanted.

I then logged out and logged in as the newly created admin. I tried to delete the other users but that created problems with attributing the posts so I ended up leaving them in place.

    Hello Clinton and M.A. Bell,

You’re able to replace the password in PHPMy Admin.
